Here you can shoot miles of dramatic coastline, crashing waves, mountain and ocean vistas, culturally rich towns, classic New England harbor scenes, historic carriage roads, wildflowers, wildlife, a stunning lighthouse, and so much more. Join us as we explore the island and reveal its unique diversity in locations such as Bass Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, Jordan Pond, the Seawall, Schoodic Peninsula, and more. Each day we will work on concepts of Subject Development, Exposure, Image Composition, Architectural Photography, Black and White Photography, Low Light Photography, and Long Exposures. Acadia is a breathtaking visual experience that will stay with you forever.
We will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction, critiques, and image review during the workshop. Once on location we will utilize local transportation to and from each destination.
